About CCNI

Child Care & Nutrition, Inc. or, CCNI, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving family child care providers and families.  Our main service is to sponsor the United States Department of Agriculture’s Child and Adult Care Food Program.  We also offer many training opportunities, resources for providers and an annual Kid’s First Conference held each year (usually in January or February).

We believe if we support family child care providers, they could experience the following outcomes:

  1. providers will have a very successful program
  2. children in care will have a wonderful bonding experience
  3. parents will feel secure about their children’s care.

Our mission statement:

Child Care & Nutrition, Inc. shall endeavor to provide information and support to child caregivers and to promote understanding, stimulate public awareness, provide for guidance and counseling concerning the needs of children.
